Cancellation policy

Cancellations and rescheduling requires 24 hours notice. If you cancel/reschedule your appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the appointment cost.


Privacy policy

Information we collect: When you engage with our services, we will collect personal information including your name, date of birth, health history, current medications, lifestyle information and details shared within consultation relevant to your care.

How your information is used: Your personal information is used solely for the purpose of providing you with professional and safe Naturopathic care. Your information is used by your practitioner to support your treatment and ongoing care. It is not shared with, sold to or disclosed to any third parties.

Confidentiality & limits: We take your privacy seriously. All information you share is kept confidential, with one important exception:
Duty of care: if your practitioner has reasonable grounds to believe that you, or another person, are at risk of harm, your information may be disclosed to appropriate parties (such as emergency services or relevant authorities) without your consent. This is a professional and legal obligation.

How your information is stored: your records are stored securely and accessed only by your practitioner. All reasonable steps are taken to protect your information from unauthorised use, loss or misuse.

You have the right at any time to access a copy of your information or to update personal information.


Complaints

If you have a concern about how your information or care has been handled, you are encouraged to raise it directly with your practitioner in the first instance.

Clients may make a complaint if they believe a member of the NHAA has breached the Code of Conduct. Complaints must be made in writing, signed by the complainant, and contain full particulars. They can be submitted to the NHAA by email at nhaa@nhaa.org.au or by calling 02 9797 2244.
